In alchemy, Prima Materia is the dark, formless chaos from which all life and substance emerge.
In ceramics, work with the Earth minerals also creates the feeling of returning to absolute beginning, to “alchemical laboratory”.
This “performance” of the THETRE OF MATTER explores metamorphosis of the ancient Earth elements and ‘elements” within ourselves. It’s about metamorphosis of nature, human biology and psyche, exploring ancient symbols and myths.
These ancient patterns exist even in a contemporary world.

The performance begins with the works exploring all the raw materials of existence, be it mineral, biological or spiritual. You will feel much like stepping into “Alchemical laboratory” where mysterious metamorphosis is already happening.

Clay spirits here reside in the unseen and the unspoken. Sense of melancholy, mystery and seek for hidden knowledge. Entering deeper, quieter realms of memory, dreamscapes, undergrowth., subconscious. It’s all about quiet metamorphosis.

“Actors” can take any shape of prima materia where the distinction between mineral and biological forms no longer exists, as every form is originated from the same primordial matter. and finally could bloom

This act brings the alchemical journey of ancient clay (prima materia) into the present day, exploring metamorphosis happening with the contemporary world. Is there anything different or are we still affected by the same ancient patterns?
